The National Tooling and Machining Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that funds workforce development education and career awareness initiatives to improve the skill base needed by the industry. The Foundation has helped fund the work of the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS), provided the seed funding for the National Robotics League and NTMA-U, provides scholarships to students pursuing studies in manufacturing technology.
