2018 National Tooling and Machining Association to Hold Annual Fall Conference,
Mark 75th Anniversary of “Making America Strong”
DENVER, CO – October 18, 2018 – The National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) will host its annual Fall Conference this month on October 23 -26, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. This year’s conference has added significance as NTMA celebrates the 75th anniversary of its founding and reflects on its unwavering commitment to making America strong through the service of the precision custom manufacturing industry.
The 2018 Fall Conference is also the first with newly appointed NTMA President Dean Bartles at the helm. “I am delighted to lead my first NTMA General Session at this significant Fall Conference,” said Bartles. “Throughout our history, NTMA’s strength has been our members. This event will provide us with a unique opportunity to celebrate the successes of NTMA members and of our organization as well as work together to plan for the challenges that lie ahead. I’m looking forward to welcoming attendees from across the country as we honor our past and invest into our future at the 2018 Fall Conference.”
Throughout the conference, NTMA will pay tribute to its 75-year history. Attendees are encouraged to explore the 75th Anniversary Gallery, a picture history display chronicling the organization’s evolution. Additionally, on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2018, NTMA members and supporters will toast NTMA’s past and future at the 75th Anniversary Awards Gala. The Gala will feature four founding NTMA member companies and celebrate achievements spanning the organization’s lifetime.
The NTMA Fall Conference has a reputation for excellence in education and this year will be no exception. NTMA’s Business Solutions Workshops give attendees the tools to strengthen and grow their businesses while the Ignite Sessions will tackle the latest in shop management technique and technology implementation. NTMA’s Washington, DC team from the Franklin Partnership and Bracewell LLP will also be on-hand to provide an insiders’ view into what to expect in the 2018 Midterm Elections.
There will also be plenty of opportunity for networking through fellowship and fun. In addition to the Awards Gala, the conference will include a 5K run, corn hole tournament, several receptions, and a Casino Night.
“The Fall Conference is always a great event and a highlight on the NTMA calendar,” Bartles added. “This year, we’re excited to give our members a special opportunity to reflect and inspire one another – something they have been doing since our founding in 1943.”
