With MFG Day 2020 upon us, it’s more important than ever before to continue to bring in the next generation of precision manufacturers into our shops and businesses.
NTMA, in partnership with LEVY, wants to help your shop bring in young adults and the community to see the power of manufacturing – using a virtual tour! Virtual plant tours are a great way to have an interactive showcase of your shop, available on demand, which can double as a recruitment tool for customers and future employees.
LEVY wants to help your company create this key resource. Through NTMA’s partnership with LEVY, you can reach out directly to their team to shoot and develop a plant tour, using 360° camera technology! This is a great way to bring a professional touch to your tour. Plus, the team at LEVY takes care of editing, equipment, and production.
Here’s what LEVY President and CEO Francois Gau had to say about this excellent opportunity for NTMA members:
You can completely integrate this tool with your lead conversion program as part of your proposal development process. It’s highly effective based on what I often hear, “When they visit, they almost always buy.” If they can’t come to you physically, make them come virtually. Since this tool is online, if people have questions, they can email or call you, or reach out to you on a social media platform. This approach is highly engaging and can be embedded in your outreach campaigns to connect with prospects in the way we are used to these days.
As an added bonus, if you do work with LEVY and identify yourself as an NTMA Member, 2% of all profits from the creation of the virtual shop tour will go towards the National Robotics League.

Whether you’re able to engage with the future of manufacturing on MFG Day this Friday, October 2nd, or another day this fall and beyond, we hope you’ll take full advantage of the new opportunities presented in these interesting times.
