Over the next decade, nearly 3.5 million manufacturing jobs will likely need to be filled! There is a significant manufacturing skills gap, which is expected to leave 2 million of those jobs unfilled! Today’s manufacturing companies are embracing new technologies, innovating constantly, and welcoming new ideas and perspectives from across the globe to stay competitive.
In collaboration with Cue Careers in Washington, DC, a number of NTMA members will be interviewed by students regarding opportunities in manufacturing. These videos will go on Cue Careers’ webpage which currently reaches 500K+ students. Their goal is to expose students to all types of industries, mainly through associations like ours.
